Item description: * See scan - perfect condition. Comes with original field type hat that resembles the German NAZI type. This is a very rare uniform from the days after King Boris III death while it was already 1944 and the Bulgarian Army joined the Soviet Russia USSR Red Army in the fight for to take over Berlin and Germany. The Royal uniform types were still used, but there are certain insignia that show it is exactly from the Regency period of the Prince Simeon reign under communist rule. The uniform is a rare green khaki field combat type and belonged to a Colonel from the Red Cross unit (has the snake sign at the shoulder boards). Probably a very high ranking medical staff officer and doctor - could be a chief of field hospital on the German front. There is also a special badge attached to uniform saying 1st Bulgarian Army to Berlin - rare piece. Scarce collector militaria and Army item.
