Item description: * See scan - perfect condition. This is an extremely rare Bulgarian Royal pilot badge. It is a WWII King Boris III issue, but it was first used in 1921. This is a special pilot Academy pilot badge. So far I've had only a handfull of these throughout all of my collector experience and this is the one that comes out extremely rarely. For sale at VicMart.com for a 3rd time (last one didn't last listed too long...) My sources say, that no more than 20 or 30 such badges were issued and awarded to a limited number of highest ranking pilots. The badge is also listed at the German catalogue of Bulgarian Military badges. A truly scarce pilot wings and badge - a true collector item. Nice early issue with a Miloshev master mark at back. True scarce collector piece that doesn't last long to stay at any list...
